Easter/Spring Mini Sessions

Easter is THIS MONTH!  Easter is one of my absolute favorite holidays!  The celebration of Christ's atonement, the beginning of Spring with all of its flowers,  pastel colors and adorable children in adorable outfits--what's not to love?

I also love Easter because it means I get to see your kids dressed up and photograph them in their Easter best!  So here are all of the details:

When: Saturday, March 19th (sessions available starting 9 AM)
Where: The Pink House (YOU GUYS! This place is adorable! It's a hair studio converted from the cutest pink house in downtown Lenoir and all of the hair stations are vintage vanities! WHAT?? Yes, for real.  And the light in the room I rent is out of this world.)
Cost: $99 plus tax
Props: A variety of banners and props are available for you to choose for your little one's photos. From flower crowns to pastel eggs, I've got quite a variety!
Fine Print: Due to limited studio space, I cannot accommodate more than 4 siblings at once. All children have to be older than 3 months. If you have an older sibling that can comfortably hold the little one exceptions can be made. No family pictures will be taken during that time. No outfit changes.

There you go! Contact me ASAP to snag your session! I cannot wait to photograph your little boys in bowties and little girls in frilly dresses!

Snyder Kids {Granite Falls, NC}

Last week before the big snow storm I got together with my good friend (and Zumba instructor! Whoop!) Dana and her kids to take some fun photos.  I looove the way they turned out.  Aren't they such beautiful children?? I cannot stop thinking about how cute they all look in their photos!   And I thought it would be fun to make a few Valentine's appropriate;).  I mean, you can't go wrong with heart and arrow bokeh, am I right??

Speaking of Valentine's Day photos, don't forget about my Vday minis coming up on February 6th!  Be sure to book your spot ASAP because spots are going fast!

These last photos of Dana--isn't she such a babe? And she looks killer in orange!  Did you know she and her family run a farm? They sell their (delicious!) meat that you absolutely have to buy if you live anywhere near Granite Falls, NC.  Be sure to check out Snyder Family Farm on facebook! Thanks again, girl for letting me photograph you and your kids!!

I've gotten mine taken care of, now it's your turn to have yours done on February 6th! I'm taking a much more modern, clean approach to my mini sessions, which I'm seriously pumped about! I love keeping things clean, fun, and simple.

Here are the details:

Freshly Picked Moccasins (Review)

If you've never heard of Freshly Picked, then I'm so glad you're here! Let me introduce you to an insanely comfortable, durable, and fashionable little shoe made specially for your little one's foot. The soft soles are perfect for all ages, but especially for toddlers as they are learning to walk. My son had his first pair when he was about 6 months old, and man I loved those shoes! They didn't trip him up, they stayed on his super chubby feet, and they were cute (I got compliments on them aaalll of the time everywhere I went).  AND they fit him until he was about 14 months old (!!!!).  That right there is my absolute favorite thing about these shoes.  They stretch! I got my daughter a size 8 moccasin about a year and half ago and today they still fit her almost size 11 foot because, aside from the elastic opening, they have slowly stretched with her feet.  I don't know a single shoe out there that can claim to grow with your child.  Hers have started getting holes in the toes, but let me tell you.  You can't beat having a good pair of shoes for a kid for a year a half!

Hands down, these shoes are the best toddler shoe out there.  They are easy to clean, they don't get stinky when they are wet and worn without socks (and let me tell you, non-leather moccasins DO get super stinky when they get wet, whether they are worn with socks or not, which I sadly know from experience.  Peeyoo!)  The only downfall?  The price.  They are expensive, so sometimes it feels like you just want to protect them and save them for only special occasions, but honestly?  They are worth every penny. I believe in investing in quality products, and this right here is a quality product worth paying for.

AND GUESS WHAT?? I get to give a pair of these bad boys away!  TO YOU! Be sure to check in tomorrow to participate in my giveaway!  I am partnering with several other awesome small business women as well to sweeten up the deal!   You definitely don't want to miss out! So be sure to check here tomorrow to get the full scoop!!

Nadeau Family {Lenoir, NC}

I attend church with this family, and they are such strong, wonderful people!  I remember when we first moved into the area, I would bring my then 14 month old daughter with me to church activities on Wednesday evenings and she and Rachel's oldest son would play together.  Now they are both in preschool! I can't believe it has been three years since I have moved into this area! There have been some great moments and some not so great moments since living here, but I will always be grateful for the wonderful people I've gotten to know from my church.  The Nadeaus are absolutely no exception!

And aren't they beautiful?
