Are you as excited as I am?? I am so excited to be partnering with Freshly Picked and four other women who care as much about their craft and work as I care about mine!

So who else is a part of this giveaway? Let me introduce them!

A Vintage Poster- Sara Harding's posters range from simple and elegant to funky and fun.  She has hundreds of poster designs that can match anywhere in your home--from your child's room to your sitting room. She is giving away 3 posters of your choice!

Remember Stella- Jenny Petersen's fingerless gloves are adorable and trendy, and they come in adult and child sizes.  I love matching with my daughter, so these are right up my alley. She is giving a mother-daughter matching set of gloves for the giveaway in the color Claret (pictured below!).

See Anne Sew- Anne Johnson is a good friend of mine and talented seamstress.  She sews adorable clothes for her children, and is offering two of the cutest little bow ties in 6-12 month size.

The Simple Little Things- Heather Malouf has every bow you could ever imagine in her shop. My faves are her sparkle bows and her faux leather bows.  Who can resist sparkles or faux leather accessories? She is giving away a white faux leather bow elastic headband in the size of your choice.

Freshly Picked Moccasins (Review)

If you've never heard of Freshly Picked, then I'm so glad you're here! Let me introduce you to an insanely comfortable, durable, and fashionable little shoe made specially for your little one's foot. The soft soles are perfect for all ages, but especially for toddlers as they are learning to walk. My son had his first pair when he was about 6 months old, and man I loved those shoes! They didn't trip him up, they stayed on his super chubby feet, and they were cute (I got compliments on them aaalll of the time everywhere I went).  AND they fit him until he was about 14 months old (!!!!).  That right there is my absolute favorite thing about these shoes.  They stretch! I got my daughter a size 8 moccasin about a year and half ago and today they still fit her almost size 11 foot because, aside from the elastic opening, they have slowly stretched with her feet.  I don't know a single shoe out there that can claim to grow with your child.  Hers have started getting holes in the toes, but let me tell you.  You can't beat having a good pair of shoes for a kid for a year a half!

Hands down, these shoes are the best toddler shoe out there.  They are easy to clean, they don't get stinky when they are wet and worn without socks (and let me tell you, non-leather moccasins DO get super stinky when they get wet, whether they are worn with socks or not, which I sadly know from experience.  Peeyoo!)  The only downfall?  The price.  They are expensive, so sometimes it feels like you just want to protect them and save them for only special occasions, but honestly?  They are worth every penny. I believe in investing in quality products, and this right here is a quality product worth paying for.

AND GUESS WHAT?? I get to give a pair of these bad boys away!  TO YOU! Be sure to check in tomorrow to participate in my giveaway!  I am partnering with several other awesome small business women as well to sweeten up the deal!   You definitely don't want to miss out! So be sure to check here tomorrow to get the full scoop!!

Johnson Family {Marietta, GA}

Anne and I go way back to our BYU days--we lived on the same floor our freshman year, became good friends with 4 other girls, and have never looked back!  We are, in fact, planning our 11 year reunion for next fall.  It would have been this year, but someone had a baby...*ahem*. Just kidding, Anne! I'll have a reunion whenever I can with these girls! We have so many great memories together.  We became adults together, watched each other find love, get married, have babies.  And now Anne lives only an hour from my sister lives in Georgia, which means I get to visit her every time I take a trip down!

We were fated to be forever friends, and I wouldn't choose anyone else to fit the bill!  Love you, Anne! And your beautiful family!

Foggy Mountain Trip {Blowing Rock, NC}

I'm going to take a quick break from posting fall minis to share some photos from a crazy trip up the mountains to Blowing Rock, NC a couple weeks ago. The colors on the trees were so stunning on our drive up the canyon, but as soon as we hit Blowing Rock we ran into the thickest fog I've ever seen.  I don't think I've ever seen fog like that during the middle of the day.  It was so incredible! I'm a big fan of cloudy days and fog.  In fact, I would just love to have a session in the type of fog we encountered in Blowing Rock.  It was eerie, Halloween-y, and just so perfectly fall.  So of course I was having the time of my life photographing my kids (and nephews and nieces) having the time of their lives playing the mounds of leaves.  What an amazing memory we'll always have!

Malouf Family

I feel like a broken record with all of my blog posts because every family I photograph is beautiful.  The Maloufs are no exception.  I got to photograph their family almost a year ago when their littlest was just a fresh newbie! She has grown into the happiest little thing, and her big sister is as sassy and sweet as ever.

Their session is what I would call a perfect lifestyle fall family session.  Truly.  So much love in these photos!
