Heather and I know each other through our mutual friend Meghan who I was close friends with growing up. Once we headed off to college, Heather and Meghan roomed together which is how Heather and I met. Now all of these years later, Heather and I live in neighboring states (Meghan, come visit!)! Their kids were troopers in the freezing shade --a few mini mm's helped a bit-- with mostly giggles and smiles the whole time. Does it get any sweeter? I just loved, loved getting to photograph them. Their kids were just the cutest!
I'll be posting sneaks of the fall family sessions I had last weekend in Marietta, GA, starting with this awesome family who I have photographed since their second to youngest daughter was just a tiny little thing. It's so fun to see a family grow, especially when they have such sweet, adorable kids!
I just spent my weekend in Marietta with my family and taking lots of fall family photos. I also got to squeeze in a session with this pretty little thing. She is an honest-to-goodness baby doll come to life. I mean, that hair? Her adorable big eyes and chubby cheeks? It doesn't get much better than that! And her mom is an incredibly talented seamstress and made her adorable jumper dress (she makes a bajillion other amazingly cute things so you absolutely have to check out her instagram).
I love my job, people.
After getting to the beach and taking off my lens cap, my lens filter got super foggy because the camera was cool from being the AC'd car and the beach air was humid and warm. I decided to take a few quick shots of Rachel to see how it would turn out and I just love the effect of the lens fog!
